In this book you will find the transcription of approximately 1700 persons who were identified as "colored" in the City Directory of LaGrange, Georgia, May 1929. Their names were denoted with a "c." In addition to the transcription, there are five detailed indexes to the work. It is my desire that this work will keep alive the memory of those who were identified in such a way and will assist genealogists in finding their ancestors.
