General Use Reproduction
Reproductions are provided by Troup County Archives as a service to patrons for their private study and one-time use on a fee-for-service basis.

Permission to Publish
Permission to obtain copies does not constitute permission to publish or reprint the photocopied or reproduced materials. If you wish to publish reproduction material from the Troup County Archives, you must request permission from the Executive Director. Images published on a website are also subject to this procedure. Please contact us for commercial use fees. Each reproduction must carry the following credit line: Courtesy Troup County Archives, LaGrange, Georgia. Permission is granted for one-time use only. Material may not be reused without the permission of the Executive Director. TCA requests that the user furnish one complimentary copy of the issue of the publication or film in which the reproduction(s) appear.
Copyright Information
The patron assumes full responsibility for any infringement of copyright or for any other legal issues, such as libel or invasion of privacy, which may arise from the patron’s use of the copies. Persons using unpublished materials (including photographs and materials in digital formats) are protected by copyright law (Title 17 U.S. Code), and any use beyond “fair use” may be an infringement.
General Guidelines
Patrons wishing to have images delivered digitally (email, Google Drive, or USB drive) should specify the resolution and the type of file (JPEG, TIFF, etc.) required. If no format or resolution is specified, images will be scanned at 300 dpi.
Reproduction orders are completed in the order in which they are received. If materials are needed in less than five business days from receipt of order, rush fees may apply.
Right to Refuse
The Troup County Archives strives to provide all collection materials for reproduction to the extent permitted by the law when such reproduction furthers its mission. However, the Archives reserves the right to refuse to permit reproduction and may impose additional conditions as it sees fit in the best interests of the Troup County Archives. Such determination will be made by the Executive Director.
